What is something people in your industry owners have to deal with that you want to fix?

Translating threats into opportunities in the world of linguistics and embracing change.

What do you do at The Language Doctors?

I am responsible for the creation and overall governance structure of the production team while providing strategic direction and operational leadership to the PMO. My top objectives are to advise managers and teams on the best use of project management disciplines and approaches and to apply best industry practices, while ultimately ensuring unsurpassed customer satisfaction.

What are your credentials/past experience, for working in your position?

I have been serving the GILT (globalization, internationalization, localization, and translation) industry for the past decade and I have pursued university studies in linguistics, resulting in a college degree in Applied Modern Languages and academic degree in Translation and Interpretation in Romance languages.

What’s your Archetype?

I do not have a role model, but many, or better said several pieces of role models, several people I admire, whose behaviour resonates with me and whose actions and line of reasoning inspire me.

What do you like about working at The Language Doctors?

Working with an extraordinary team of professionals is definitely what I cherish most at The Language Doctors.

What’s your background?

For as long as I can remember, my passions have been focused on foreign languages. If at first, during my teenage years, I found pleasure in learning foreign languages and practicing them to the fullest, later on, throughout my academic years, I perceived them as gratifying objects of etymological studies. I joined the language industry at a very young age, I was 18 years old. But if I were to rewind to 10 years before that, well, that’s the moment when I found out that I will not be working for a day in my life if I were to choose a job I love. And that’s exactly what I did.

What are the values that drive you?

A deep desire for learning and for making a difference. To me, it all comes down to seeking out new challenges for more growth.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

Exploring America, exploring the world, reading and attending workshops and webinars.
